Alligator embossing and contrast stitching
The Boras KN watch strap is made of genuine cowhide leather. The different layers of leather are stitched, with the stitching in a contrasting color to the leather. Apart from the alligator embossing and the buckle in yellow gold or white, the watch strap is kept simple.
Simple rules for wristwatches: Business dress requires leather straps
The only jewelry for men, as it was long said and is still said in many industries, is the wristwatch. And with a dark suit, it shouldn't just be any wristwatch: The watch should have a rather discreet metal case, and the watch strap is usually made of genuine leather. Your new cowhide watch strap features elegant alligator embossing. The strap thickness, depending on the size you choose, is between 3 millimeters and 6 millimeters. Your watch strap consists of different layers; the inside of the leather is light and corresponds with the light color of the stitching. The outside of your watch strap is black, dark brown, gold, or orange.
Match the color of the buckle to the color of your watch. The Boras KN watch strap is available with a buckle in yellow gold or white. Choose the tone that matches the metal your watch is made of – the strap and watch will harmonize.
What size do you need?
The Boras KN watch strap is available in Normal, Short, and Long lengths. Of course, not only the length of the strap varies, but also the width. This ensures that your watch strap always looks balanced, even on a wider wrist.
The available lengths are:
- Normal: Size M, length 114 millimeters plus 82 millimeters
- Short: Size S, length 104 millimeters plus 72 millimeters
- Long: Size L, length 116 millimeters plus 86 millimeters
And what width does your watch need?
How long your watch strap should be depends on your wrist circumference. But before you order your new watch strap, you should verify that the lug width matches your watch. The lug width refers to the width of the watch strap at the point where you insert the spring bar and attach the strap to the watch. You can find this information on the underside of your watch case. The Boras KN watch strap is available with a lug width of 16, 18, 20, or 22 millimeters.
Your skin needs care - so does cowhide leather
Cowhide leather is the skin of a cow. Like human skin, leather requires a certain amount of care to remain robust and durable. Make sure the cowhide leather does not get wet. You should take off your watch before showering or bathing. A few splashes of water when washing your hands, however, generally won't harm your watch or strap. Make sure your leather strap occasionally gets some neutral (non-staining) leather care. The alligator embossing truly comes into its own on a well-maintained leather strap. And caring with a little leather grease has another "side effect": If your watch strap does happen to get wet, water stains won't immediately form. They don't look good.
