A traditional fourth-generation business. Raspe Uhren und Goldschmiede is a family-run company with a long tradition. We have been serving our customers for over 80 years, offering high-quality watches and jewelry. In our goldsmith workshop in Worb, we also create custom-made jewelry. Our aim is to always offer our customers the best possible quality - both in our products and in our service.

In 2016, the brand was acquired by the a.b.art group.

The watch brand Votum gained recognition in the 1960s when the cosmopolitan and bilingual city of Biel solidified its leading role among the world's watch industry locations. The Divimat model, with its integrated rotating slide rule, was particularly popular.

The brand returned to Biel ownership in the 1990s. 3000 watches were manufactured and sold during this period until the end of 2000.

In 2015, François Zahnd, long-time owner of the watch manufacturer Fashiontime AG, together with Zurich graphic designer Rolf Bodmer, decided to revive the Votum brand.

The new makers of Votum are focusing on the history of the city of Biel as well as the tradition of mechanical movements.
