Mondaine Watches for Women - Design Classics for Every Style (MSE.26110.LB)
The Swiss watch brand Mondaine is a household name in the watch world due to its elegant and timeless design. The well-known women's model features a case diameter of 26 millimeters, making it very small compared to other designs. Visually, the Mondaine watch for women resembles the official SBB (Swiss railway clock) and has thus become known worldwide. Hans Hilfiker (1901-1993) was a Swiss designer and engineer who, among other things, had the ideas for wristwatches in the style of the Swiss railway clock.
Modern and Stylish Design for Every Look
These Mondaine women's watches are designed in the 'Easy Style' and are water-resistant up to thirty meters (three bar). The dial is white and, under the sapphire crystal, creates a striking contrast to the red seconds hand and the two black hands and sixty black indices. The case and crown are made of high-gloss stainless steel. The case diameter is 26 millimeters, making it very small. The strap is made of black leather and is 12 millimeters wide. Quartz watches of this type are secured with a pin buckle.
MONDAINE Watches - a Design Classic from Switzerland
Mondaine Watches: Mondaine wristwatches, Mondaine pocket watches, Mondaine table clocks, Mondaine wall clocks, Mondaine alarm clocks and travel alarm clocks.
The Mondaine watch brand hardly needs an introduction, as the most famous watch in this range, the official Swiss railway clock (SBB), enjoys worldwide recognition. The graphically clear dial with the striking hour and minute lines and the red seconds hand make Mondaine watches unmistakable.
The Swiss engineer and designer, Hans Hilfiker (1901-1993), created a design classic in the 1940s as an employee of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB CFF FFS): The Swiss railway clock. Based on the SBB large clock found in Swiss train stations, Mondaine Watch Ltd. developed the legally protected wristwatch in 1986, which has since become a classic. Other models with the red seconds hand, such as table and wall clocks, travel alarm clocks, and pocket watches, have long been available.
