As an exclusive label, Certina stands for quality that meets the highest demands and is reliable. Therefore, the DS-1 Big Date Powermatic was equipped with an automatic caliber and the innovative Nivachron balance spring. Thus, its accuracy is not affected by magnetic fields and it proves to be extremely resistant even to temperature fluctuations. In addition, it absorbs shocks more evenly.

A large date is integrated at 6 o'clock. The faceted wedge indices and the stainless steel case with a 41 mm diameter are complemented by a 20 mm wide bracelet made of exquisite stainless steel with a butterfly clasp.
